This latest assignment for the Make Art That Sells e-course has challenged me in ways I'd never even considered, as I've been traveling for the last week - on a 10 day mini-safari in Kenya, believe it or not - so keeping up has been a feat, what with intermittent internet connections, and no scanner ... just the precious moleskine journal, marker pens and pencils, and bits and bobs of free time whenever it's been possible to squeeze moments in.
Here's the result, and I have my fingers crossed that the colours aren't completely off, as they're so difficult to gauge on the laptop ...
Phew. What do you think?
And here are photographs of the progress drawings from my moleskin:
Before the assignment was given out I had time to play around with tons of snail sketches. There's no need to show them all but there are a few amusing ones I thought I'd share:
It's late and it's time for bed as we're off at the crack of dawn to drive through a couple of National Parks. This trip is an absolutely amazing one, can't wait till I get back and can tell all, share photos, and sit to paint and draw animals I've actually seen for myself in the wild.
Meanwhile, here's wishing all of you a day full of shining possibilities. Cheers.
