It's summertime, and not only is it the season when I can indulge in a bit of socialising (as opposed to being a winter hermit!), but my mum is visiting at the moment as well, which doesn't leave much time for art or the business. It's at times like this when I truly appreciate having control over my own life and be able to work flexible hours.
Anyway, instead of drawing something today, I've been doing a bit of re-organizing of old artwork, and have come across a few pieces that I'd put aside. Time to bring them out into the light of day bit by bit - here's the first, a coloured pencil drawing from about a year ago, of a fruit tart from the patisserie in the village:
I'm pretty sure it was greedily gobbled down as soon as possible, as our village patisserie has the most delicious pastries. Not sure why I never posted this one, but hopefully it will make you just slightly hungry for something sweet.
Have a delightful day! Cheers.
