Good things are happening around here, and change is in the air. The days are getting cooler and shorter but it's still strange working on Christmas pieces when the pool is tempting and beckoning us to jump in while we still can. We give in to temptation quite often around here ...
This quirky Polar Bear decided that the weather wasn't stopping him and he sat with purposeful determination at the end of my pencil, leaving me no choice but to follow his contours around on the blank page before me. The penguin popped up out of nowhere. It had to be done, and I had an absolutely great time drawing them out.
I then worked on him further, as one must, and with great delight cleaned him up ready for presentation:
After which, as usual, I was stuck on how exactly to present him. But I just went with the 'flow' and ended up churning out three different choices:
And this time, instead of fretting over which one to pick, I'm going with all three of them. You can see the results - CHRISTMAS POLAR BEAR - over at my all-new store at Zazzle, QUIRKY CRITTERS. Hope you find him as much fun as I do.
Wishing you a wonderfully cool day! Cheers.
