A Printable Starry Florals Gift Colouring Page

 

 

I needed some bright colours to cheer me up on this slightly grey day full of drizzle and hail, so finally got around to checking and then colouring in my Starry Florals Gift page. I did need the therapeutic break from what has been quite a chaotically busy life recently ... drawing, and then colouring, these pages in is always a calmly joyful respite that seems to re-energise and refresh me. I hope it does the same for you.

Carefree Cyclamens Colouring Page In Progress

 

 

I have to confess that I'm not entirely happy with my cyclamens page at the moment, neither the drawing nor the colouring of it. I feel that it may not have enough little details for colouring in, and I'm not liking my colour choices here, especially that purply/lilac bit on the bottom. May have to print another sheet out and start again.

What do you think? Is this a page that you'd like to colour in or does it need more lines and designs, perhaps in the background? I'm going to take a break from it for a bit and come back later, perhaps with a better eye and a more objective view of the illustration as a whole. Cheers.

 

A New Printable Colouring Page: Sweet Strawberry Picker

 

 

I've finally cleaned up (in Photoshop) and prepped my Sweet Strawberry Picker printable colouring page and it's now up for download at the Floating Lemons Etsy store. Above, I'm trying to pick the colours to fill it up with ... and below is my start on the strawberries, in pinks and reds of course.

 

 

I think it might turn out quite nicely in pinks and greens, we shall see. If you'd like to download it to colour in yourself, just click here:

Printable Flying Bird Fish Colouring Page

 

 

Flying Bird Fish is my new colouring page, a quirky take on the underwater world, with fish and birds swimming around weird corals and plants, a fun colouring experience. Of course I had to colour it in myself, and here I'm using a bunch of different marker pens, mainly Faber-Castell ones as shown in the image above. Below is the page you'll get if you download it from the etsy store:
